Mya "Equinox standing fully in the light of your existence"

I painted this piece to celebrate the Summer Equinox, my favorite season. The painting features a black woman amidst an abstract background. It symbolizes the balance of light and dark, new beginnings, growth, renewal, and the journey towards self-discovery. This time of year offers the perfect opportunity to start new projects, let go of what no longer serves us, and find balance in life. This 30x40 inch acrylic on canvas painting is part of my "I am ok" series and was inspired by the transformative power of the equinox.
