I am super excited to be part of this exhibition with the Pumphouse Theatre and the Quenten Doolittle Memorial Galery.
The Pumphouse Theatre is a vibrant facility with historical significance and a focus on showcasing community, emerging and early-stage career artists. It supports and presents all art forms and creates opportunities for engagement, enrichment, cultural experience, learning and inspiration while serving all Calgarians. To enable this, the Quenten Doolittle Memorial Gallery provides accessible wall display space for Mohkinstsis (Calgary) and Alberta visual artists to display and sell their work, free from commission.
This exhibit will reflect the theme of identity – from gender, ethnicity, family and heritage, we want to show artistic expressions that ponder “who am I, and what is my place in this world?”
The exhibition has been scheduled to run from September 21st until December 16th in the year 2023.
